Wear your costume to Saturday class! This month, we're celebrating the season with Hallow-Kido Costume Day. (Back then we were known as Martial Arts Family Fitness, and our monthly Parent's Newsletter was how families kept up with the dojo.)

Hallow-Kido Costume Day

Everyone can dress up and come to Saturday class in costume, then stay for ice cream afterward. The kids get to compete for the best costume, and the winner takes home a prize. It's one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season together.

Glow Saber training

The same Saturday, our younger students get a Glow Saber training session, which is as fun as it sounds.

Why fun belongs in the dojo

Events like this matter more than they might seem. Kids who laugh together on a Saturday train better together on a Monday. Fun builds the friendships that keep students coming back, and that's where real progress happens.

It also fits this month's character focus, enthusiasm. A student who brings energy to class, even on an ordinary day, learns faster and lifts everyone around them.

Bring your costume and your enthusiasm, and we'll see you on the mat!
