By opting in, you agree that Santa Barbara Dojo may send you text messages such as class and appointment reminders, scheduling updates, account and billing notifications, and replies to questions you send us. PRIVACY POLICY:
We collect personal information you provide directly to us, such as your name, phone number, email address, and billing information, when you register for classes, request information, or communicate with our staff. This information is used to schedule and manage classes, process payments, respond to inquiries, and send you appointment, account, and billing related communications.
Your personal information is shared only with our affiliated business entities, Goleta Dojo, LLC and Kickboxers, Inc., and with the trusted service providers who help us operate our business, including Stripe for secure payment processing and SparkMemberships.com for scheduling and membership management. We do not sell your personal information to outside companies, and SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates.
SMS PROGRAM DETAILS:
How we obtain your consent
We send text messages only to people who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive them. You may opt in by: (1) submitting the opt-in form at santabarbaradojo.com/text-message-signup, where the consent language and a consent checkbox appear directly with the phone number field; (2) providing your number and agreeing to SMS contact on a trial registration, membership agreement, waiver, or event sign-up form at one of our locations; (3) telling a staff member in person or by phone that we may text you; or (4) texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or enrollment.
What messages you will receive
Our text messages are one-to-one conversations between you and a person at the dojo. Students, parents, and prospective students may receive: answers to questions you send us, class schedule changes and reminders, trial class and appointment confirmations, belt testing and event notices, and account and billing notifications. We do not send automated marketing blasts.
Frequency, rates, opt-out, and help
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us; we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further messages unless you opt in again. Mobile information and third parties
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Mobile numbers are shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging, scheduling, and billing systems on our behalf, and only for the purpose of delivering the messages described above.
Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message service is supported on most major US carriers.
