Bill "Superfoot" Wallace Teaches a Kicking Seminar
By Austin Curtis ·

Come train with the one, the only, Bill Wallace, also known as Superfoot! This spring, we're welcoming the legendary martial artist back to our dojo for a kicking and stretching seminar.
Here's who Superfoot is and what the seminar covers.
A legend on our mat
Bill Wallace's resume speaks for itself:
- Undefeated World Full-Contact Karate Champion
- Celebrity martial arts instructor
- Famous martial arts actor and author
- Black Belt Magazine's "Man of the Year"
- Former member of the President's Council on Physical Fitness
- United States Air Force veteran
- Master's degree in kinesiology
That last item is a big part of why his seminars are so valuable. Superfoot doesn't just kick well. He understands how the body moves and how to train it safely.
For our students, training with someone who has competed at the highest level and studied the science behind movement is a rare opportunity. It connects the kicks they practice in class to decades of real-world experience.
Why flexibility matters
We believe flexibility is one of the most underrated parts of martial arts training. A good kick depends on balance, hip mobility and control, not just strength. Stretching the right way helps students kick higher, move better and avoid injury, whether they're kids just starting out or adults returning to fitness.
Flexibility also takes patience. You can't force it in a day. Like every part of martial arts, it improves with consistent, careful practice over time. That's a lesson that goes well beyond kicking.
Learning from someone with Superfoot's background helps students understand why a stretch works, not just how to do it.
A dojo tradition
This isn't the first time we've brought Superfoot to Santa Barbara. Years ago, we invited him for kicking and stretching seminars, and his seminars have a history of selling out. Bringing him back is part of a long tradition at our dojo of learning from the very best.
We believe that when a legend is willing to share what they know, our students deserve the chance to learn from them. A seminar with someone like Superfoot can change the way a student thinks about their training for years.
Keep learning, keep stretching
Seminars like this one are a chance to step outside your usual routine, learn from a legend and bring new skills back to your regular classes. The best martial artists never stop being students.
Whether you're a color belt, a black belt or a kickboxing student who just loves to train, a day with Superfoot is a chance to see your own kicks in a new way.
